Poetry: A Christmas Night

As the days grow shorter and the air turns crisp, a magical spirit begins to fill the world. Homes sparkle with twinkling lights, and the scent of pine and cinnamon wafts through the air. People gather, hearts open wide, as they prepare to celebrate the joy of the season. It’s a time for warmth and togetherness, a time for reflection and gratitude. Under the canopy of stars and soft falling snow, the essence of Christmas comes alive.

A Christmas Night

In the hush of a starry night,
Snowflakes dance, pure and white.
The world wraps in cheerful fun,
Whispers of joy, the season’s begun.

Through the pines, soft winds blow,
Carrying secrets from long ago.
Laughter echoes, bright and clear,
With family and friends drawing near.

The tree shines with glimmering light,
Gifts piled beneath, a lovely sight.
Stockings hung with love and care,
Hearts filled with warmth we all share.

Songs of old, sweetly we sing,
Of hope and peace this season brings.
A time for giving, to reflect,
On love’s embrace in every aspect.

So gather round, let stories flow,
Of cherished moments and dreams we know.
In this season, bright and divine,
Together we rejoice, love’s pure sign.
