So, I wanted to share a little about my routine and how I stay active. I’m not much of a runner, but I do love taking walks. On my days off, you can usually find me out early in the morning, just soaking in the fresh air. There’s something peaceful about those quiet moments before the world really wakes up.
After work, I try to squeeze in some evening walks, too. When I do, I actually set a little goal for myself to hit a certain number of steps—like hitting that next whole number. It keeps things interesting and motivates me to keep going! Plus, my job keeps me on my feet, so I end up racking up about 15,000 steps a day just from work alone. Throw in a few flights of stairs, and I’m definitely getting my exercise in!
What I really enjoy about walking is that it gives me space to think—like a mini escape. I find myself admiring all the plants and nature around me. It might not be running, but it works for me! How about you? How often do you sneak in some walking or running?
