Poetry: In A World We Share

1–2 minutes

This poem is all about finding happiness and love while caring for ourselves and each other, even when the world feels tough. It reminds us that, despite the chaos around us, we can choose to embrace joy through the connections we make. By nurturing our own well-being, we’re better equipped to show kindness and support to those we care about. With shared smiles and little acts of love, we can find joy in the everyday moments, no matter what’s going on. Ultimately, it’s a powerful reminder that together, we can tackle life’s challenges and create a community full of love and strength.

In a World We Share

In a world that spins with shadows, fear, and doubt,
We rise each day, knowing love’s what it’s about.
Happiness is a choice, a light that we can find,
In the smiles we give, in the moments intertwined.

Caring for ourselves, we nurture from within,
With kindness as our armor, we can truly begin.
Through the chaos of the day, with all its strife and pain,
We hold onto each other, through sunshine and through rain.

For every heart that’s aching, there’s a hand we can extend,
A listening ear, a warm embrace, a love we can defend.
Together we can flourish, like flowers in the spring,
Finding joy in simple things, the happiness they bring.

Embrace the joy of living, lift each other high,
With love as our foundation, there’s no limit to the sky.
Through every twist and turn, let our spirits shine above,
In a world that needs us, let’s spread compassion and love.

So let’s celebrate connection, the bonds that make us strong,
In the face of every challenge, let love be our song.
For in this tough old world, there’s beauty to be found,
In caring hearts and laughter, together, we’re unbound.
