What are your future travel plans?

I’m seriously looking forward to my travel plans next month! I’m heading back to the Big Island of Hawaii to celebrate my birthday with some great friends. It’s always such a blast to go back, and I can’t wait to dive into everything!

I’ll kick things off with a couple of nights at a resort in Waikoloa, where I can lounge around and soak up some sun. After that, I’ll be off to Naalehu, a cute little town in South Point, to stay with a friend. I’m excited to explore the island again, enjoy some delicious food, and take in the atmosphere.

You know I can’t miss Punalu’u Bake Shop! Their treats are absolutely amazing, and I’m definitely planning to indulge while I’m there. And if I’m lucky, maybe I’ll finally get to see a volcanic eruption—it’s just my luck that it usually happens right after I leave!

Once I reach Hilo, I plan to catch up with friends and reminisce about all the fun places I visited growing up. It’s going to be a good time filled with nostalgia! Plus, I’ve got to check out Two Ladies Kitchen for the first time since I hear they make fantastic mochi-type pastries. I can’t wait to give them a try.

I have to mention that I won’t be tackling the green sand beach this time. That hike was a crazy experience, but I’m glad I did it! This trip, I’ll focus on visiting the beaches that are a bit easier to get to. And just a heads-up: my friend and I both have this funny habit of “gotta grab a plant cutting” wherever we go. I’m going to try to be good and not take any cuttings, but let’s be real—I probably will!

All in all, my birthday trip to Hawaii is shaping up to be an awesome adventure filled with great food, beach time, and memorable moments with friends. I can’t wait to share all the fun!
