Poetry: Embracing The Beautifully Flawed

In shadows where quiet whispers play,
A shy artist finds their way.
Often misunderstood, yet still true,
I see beauty where others can’t view.

My canvas speaks in soft, muted shades,
With grace hidden in life’s jagged edges.
Each brushstroke reveals my heart,
Showcasing the charm in every part.

I love the imperfections that shine like stars,
Transforming flaws into something ours.
Every piece I create tells a story,
Filled with the raw, flawed, unique glory.

From doubts that once held me back,
I’ve turned to colors that won’t lack.
I’ve learned to embrace what makes me me,
And find my light in this tangled beauty.

While others seek the perfect form,
I find magic in the warm and worn.
In the bumps and bruises, the truth is shown—
A rich tapestry of experiences grown.

So, let’s take this journey, hand in hand,
Embracing the quirks that make us stand.
Together, we’ll redefine what art can be,
Celebrating our flaws, beautifully free.

In this world of the wonderfully flawed,
Let’s lift each other, create, and applaud.
Let’s break the mold of what’s deemed right,
And cherish the gifts of our imperfect light.
