You know, Halloween is one of those holidays that really divides people. Some folks go all out with the costumes, parties, and trick-or-treating, while others would rather just turn off the porch light and pretend it’s not happening. Personally, I fall somewhere in the middle – I can appreciate the spooky traditions, but it’s not necessarily my top pick for a holiday celebration.
That said, I did put together a little poem that captures the casual, fun vibe of Halloween, in case you’re looking for a bit of Halloween spirit. Take a look:

Trick-or-Treating on Hallows Eve
It’s that time of year again,
Time to get all dressed up my friend.
Goblins, ghosts, and witches galore,
Knocking on neighbors’ doors for more.
Carved pumpkins light up the night,
With flickering flames, oh what a sight!
Bobbing for apples, what a blast,
Trying to catch one before they pass.
The parties are in full swing,
Everyone’s having a spooky fling.
Costumes and masks hide who you are,
As you dance the night away near and far.
It’s the one time of year, you see,
When the veil is thin, spirits roam free.
Ancient traditions, we carry on,
Celebrating Halloween til dawn.
So grab your costume, get out there,
Trick-or-treating without a care!
It’s Hallows Eve, the spookiest night,
Let’s embrace the Halloween delight.
